How old do you have to be to get tattooed?

In Oregon, you must be 18 and you must have a valid government issued photo ID. Birth certificate and student ID’s are not acceptable. No ID, no tattoo, no exceptions.

$100

How much do your artists charge per hour?

It ranges from 150-200.

How do I book an appointment?

If you know the artist you want to work with, contact them directly (email list is at the end of this page), as we all handle our own schedules. Otherwise, please use the contact form on this site, call us 503-477-5069 or email us martianartstattoo@gmail.com with the following information about the tattoo you want: basic idea, size, style, color or black and grey, location, and any reference photos if you have them.

Is a deposit required to book an appointment?

Yes. A deposit shows your commitment to getting tattooed and reserves that time in your artist’s schedule. Deposit amounts vary depending on the artist. 

How do I prepare for my tattoo appointment?

Be well rested and well hydrated. Eat a healthy meal 1-2 hours before. Don’t drink too much caffeine and don’t be hungover! Wear comfortable clothing that will allow for access to the area you want tattooed. Bring snacks and bottled drinks if you are coming for a long session.

Do you do coverups?

Our artists accept cover up projects on a case-by-case basis depending on many factors.  Consultations are required for all cover-up projects.

Do you do Hand/Face tattoos?

Yes, we do hand and face tattoos on a case-by-case basis. We do not do side of the finger tattoos. Please contact us for more details regarding your specific tattoo.

Do you do inner lip tattoos?

NO.

Do you finish other artist’s work?

If your artist lives in the area, we recommend you have them finish it unless you are dissatisfied with the work or the service, then we would be happy to discuss your options.

Can I bring friends with me to my appointment?

We definitely welcome friends and family when space permits in our cozy shop, and we will do our best to accommodate. Generally you can bring one person into the tattoo area with you.

Can I bring my dog with me to my appointment?

Only legitimate service animals are allowed. If you aren’t sure if yours qualifies, please call us: 503-477-5069

Can I bring my baby/child with me to my appointment?

We have a very small waiting area and children under the age of 18 are not legally allowed in the tattoo area. Please arrange for childcare before your appointment.
