Martian Arts Shop Policies



    • We will not tattoo you if you: are under 18 (ID is REQUIRED by state law), visibly agitated, pushy, intoxicated or pregnant.
    • We do not tolerate any racist or discriminatory language or attitudes of any kind in our shop.
    • Absolutely NO drugs, weapons, or smoking/vaping is allowed in our shop.
    • We love your animals but pets are not allowed unless they are legitimate service animals.
    • Children under the age of 18 are not legally allowed in the tattoo area. Please arrange for childcare before your appointment.
    • If you have a heart condition, epilepsy, HIV/AIDS, hepatitis, diabetes, hemophilia, have a weakened immune system, or ANY other serious and/or communicable disease, or take medicine that thins your blood, talk to your doctor before committing to a tattoo and PLEASE tell your artist about your condition before your appointment.
    • Deposits are required to book appointments. All our artists handle their own booking, contact them directly for instructions. Also feel free to email us and we will be happy to facilitate the process for you.
    • Deposits are non­-refundable and come off the price of the tattoo. If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice, are more than 30 minutes late for your appointment without notifying your artist, or fail to show for your appointment, except in cases of emergency, your deposit is forfeit. Deposit is for the agreed upon design between artist and client. If you change your mind and the artist needs to do a complete redraw, you may be required to submit an additional deposit.
    • Estimates are not exact price quotes and may vary according to hourly rates. Our shop minimum is $80. Our hourly rates range from 120-150/hour depending on the artist. If you have a budget, please let your artist know and they will do their best to accommodate you if possible!
