He was born and raised in Hood River Oregon but recently has he returned to the great Northwest.  He is very excited to be back on his home turf tattooing at Martian Arts.  He does just about any style tattoo especially black and grey.  He loves dot work, geometric tattoos, and photo representational work.  When he isn’t tattooing John enjoys mountain biking and hanging out with family and friends.  Before discovering tattooing John was an abstract painter.  He received a MFA from Claremont Graduate University in 2005.
